Review of Harakiri (1919) by Brian M — 22 Feb 2012
An amazing samurai film that in no way limits itself to a genre. Deals with so much depth and complexity of character, using it to paint a very moving and ambivalent picture of the ronin culture. Ranks right up there with the great Kurosawa films.
