Review of Happythankyoumoreplease (2011) by Toma G — 10 Feb 2011
Five words combining into One giant title was not what many might have come to expect, but as gentle toned as it seemed. It's light mood draws an impact to those who dream to find themselves enriched in living a satisfactory intertwining tale of guidance and opportunity.
How I Met Your Mother's Josh Radnor creates the fine performance based movie that blends well with low key humor and poignant moments that radiates a lesser version of Woody Allen idiosyncrasies. As much as I tried to see this as a relative piece, I couldn't grasp the struggling aspect or the sheer excitement of finding a place in New York's urban jungle.
Either way, it showed wit and courage but it didn't have enough depth to penetrate into the soul of the audience. Endearing enough to test between the waters of friendship and relationship in multiple character story lines, but it's independent aspects clearly try to form of laying it out as mainstream.
Seemed nice enough that it was satisfactory and worthwhile. Radnor made a good effort going in front and behind the camera, but somehow felt like we were looking for more out of this.
