Review of Happythankyoumoreplease (2011) by Rogier J — 06 Aug 2011

I'm a little surprised to see so much negativity in some of the reviews because I loved the movie so much. Obviously it's impossible not to compare this moving to Garden State, but so what? Can't more than one Garden State exist in the world? Four years ago I would have been defending this movie's poor rating simply because I loved HIMYM and Radnor's Ted character.

I've since abandoned that show, but I loved Radnor's edgier, less likable "kind of" good guy, Sam. For me, the dialogue and situations rang true, as the did the interactions among the characters.

If this movie had come BEFORE Garden State, we might have seen some different reactions to it on this site. For more reasons why this movie very much didn't suck, check out Alice S's review.
