Shut the fuck up, Ted Mosby. That's the only way I can start this review. The problem with this film is it's a hodge-podge of better elements wrapped inside a story about annoying yuppie characters desperately trying to be bohemian with half the cast too old to be caught up in the antics.
Josh Radnor plays Ted Mosby er- Sam Wexler as a dull writer amongst dull friends. This is a "writer's movie" in the worst kind of way. The characters never truly interact. rather they monologue and bounce lines off each other.
If Radnor captured any emotional truth it's buried beneath his annoyingly overstated dialog. Happythankyounomoreplease.
