Review of Happy-Go-Lucky (2008) by Hagar H — 08 Aug 2009

When I first saw the trailer I thought this would be the british "Amelie Poulain", but I didnt really like Poppy's character, she's fun but I felt that at times she was exaggerating and she was trying to make everyone happy more than she should .. not that she shouldnt or that this is affecting her life but it's pointless like with the tramp and the book clerk!!

And the ending was weird! I was expecting explanations about how she became so optimistic and about the instructor why was he there near her neighbourhood yet denied it?! what's his story?!

But overall, it's was worth-watching :).
