Review of Happy-Go-Lucky (2008) by Sv G — 15 May 2010
A sweet little film staring Sally Hawkins who plays a grade school teacher with a bright spirit just trying to shed a little light into the world, despite the darkness she finds in it. Nice performances in particular by Eddie Marsen who plays her troubled driving instructor.
Maybe a tad to long in the telling and some of the editing or story placement seemed a bit off or awkward, but otherwise a fair little film.
