Review of Happy-Go-Lucky (2008) by Leah L — 16 May 2009
It started off strong but in the end I'm not sure what to think. Thematically it was the exact opposite of "Vicky Christina Barcelona" in that its about ALWAYS being happy. Is always being happy sustainable? Is it real? Poppy is adorable and enchanting but a bit much at times.
It's a cute film with a good message - just laugh, be friendly, and life will be rewarding.
