Review of Happy-Go-Lucky (2008) by Alex K — 29 Nov 2009

This one was revered by critics for some reason, but this is SEVERELY over-rated. A "slice-of-life" movie is fine, as long as it has some direction to move. This laid still for over an hour and a half, until the only intriguing scene in the film (between the lead character and driving instructor) breathed some life into this bore.

The characters felt fake, the plot lacked direction, the dialogue wasn't insightful.......a pretty big let-down for my taste.
