Happy Gilmore is a cult comedy classic. This is easily Adam Sandler's best film and there few jokes that don't pay off. The plot is hardly the most original, yet that is not necessarily required to make a good comedy.
The supporting cast are all excellent, but particularly good are Robert Kiel as a crazed Gilmore fan and Carl Weathers as Gilmore's coach.
