Review of Happy Feet Two (2011) by Michael V — 19 Jul 2012
"Not as funny or as good as the original but still a pretty solid sequel with some great tunes and as was the case with the original, an all-star cast lending their voices with Elijah Wood returning as Mumble, Robin Williams reprising both Lovelace & Ramon, Ramon's 4 amigos played by Carlos Alazraqui, Lombardo Boyar, Jeff Garcia & Johnny Sanchez III, Â Richard Carter as Bryan the Elephant Seal and Hugo Weaving as the old Penguin elder.
New faces (voices) : Matt Damon and Brad Pitt as the 2 krills are hilarious, Pink (Pop singer) replacing the wonderful Brittany Murphy as Mumble's wife Gloria shows out her voice well here, the gorgeous Sofia Vergara as Carmen (Ramon's love interest) though not much giving to do, you still get to hear her sexy voice, Common is ok & Hank Azaria as The Mighty Svan is hilarious.
Happy Feet 2 is enjoyable with great classic tunes from the Penguins but it lacks the story, likeability & humor as in the original.".
