Review of Happy Death Day (2017) by Marcus E — 12 Oct 2017

Happy Death Day is pretty much the Groundhog Day of slasher films and adds a unique concept along with the typical horror/slasher tropes, not to mention plenty of dark humor and a surprisingly engaging performance by Jessica Rothe, it's a decent scary movie to watch this Halloween though it does fall victim to the gore-free PG-13 slasher fare which probably could have gone up from an enjoyable one-time movie to a new horror classic if they cranked up the R-rated gore!
