Review of Hannibal Rising (2007) by Kim B — 29 Jun 2009
My only problem is it simplifies what makes a serial killer like Hannibal, it is way more complex than we can know and more than just an ill-fated childhood. It tries to give serial killers like Hannibal an excuse and perfect reasoning when in reality it can never make complete sense.
This movie made Hannibal seem rather simple when he is incredibly smart. The acting was very good.
