Review of Hannibal Rising (2007) by Lasse C — 24 Dec 2009
First off, I never really wanted to know how Hannibal got started. That was part of the fascination. He was this primal force. He didn't need a past to be interesting. Second the film is so disjointedly told I felt like I was watching a clip show on youtube.
The film had some nice visuals but the infantile storytelling completely ruins any kind of aesthetic quality the movie might have had.
