Before silence of the lambs and red dragon WWII Hannibal lecter's family is all murdered Hannibal is sent to a facility as a teenager he escapes and meets a woman who had lost her husband a year ago overall Hannibal rising is a great prequel with a great performance by gaspard ulliel (the girl with the pearl earing).
