Review of Hannibal (2001) by Dave L — 30 Jul 2010
The movie may not be as good as The Silence of the Lambs, but this sequel is vastly underappreciated. The film has a ton of atmosphere, reveling in the culture of Florence and the artworld. Anthony Hopkins turns in another wicked performance and the plot is intriguing and interesting.
Director Ridley Scott builds the suspense and intrigue very well. The soundtrack is absolutely brilliant and adds to the ambiance.
