Review of Hannibal (2001) by David S — 24 Jan 2011
Chilling. I know Ridley Scott got nothing like the plaudits that his predecessor of "The Silence of the Lambs" did, but with what he had, including the change in lead actress to Julianne Moore, this is fantastic.
Ray Liotta, for once a pawn in another's hand as the story of Hannibal Lector unfolds further.
Gary Oldman? What a performance, to pull a character like that off, with such realism and depth. Fantastic.
