Review of Hannibal (2001) by I Don't Know W — 22 Sep 2011
While there are memorable scenes and good performances, it's not nearly as actively engaging as Silence. I do commend it for not falling into the frequent sequel-trap of trying to red-do the first movie - it has a distinctly separate tone, themes, etc.
It's never quite great, but it's also never boring.
