For some reason, I found this a stunning version of the Hannibal film. His character is more vague and in fact less likeable here. It feels more grisly here, symbolically, he comes off as vulgar and gentleman in ritual and not much else.
But still, a gentleman, even a ritualistic one, is something to praise.
