Review of Hannibal (2001) by Caden H — 10 Aug 2013
A good sequel to silence of the lambs but by far not as good. The characters remain interesting and the story is good. The acting is great too. Entertaining but silence of the lambs is WAY better. A good addiction to the Hannibal series. 8/10.
Sex and nudity: 4/10 References to male and female genitalia, pedophilia and homosexuality. A man briefly kisses a woman. Two men flirt and dance together. We see several sketches of a naked woman.
Blood and gore: 10/10 the bloodiest and goreiest of the Hannibal series. A bloodly shootout. A man is shot with a taser. *spoliers* a man eats his own brain after a man removes it from his head and fries it. A man is eaten by pigs. A man cuts his hand off (offscreen). A man is hung and his intestines fall from his stomach. A man is stabbed in the stomach. A mans throat is slit. A man feeds brain to a child (the child doesn't know it's brain).
Profanity: 3/10 2 f-words and some other cuss words.
Drugs/ smoking/ drinking: 2/10 some casual drinking.
Intense/ frightening scenes: 8/10 many intense and creepy scenes.
