Review of Hannibal (2001) by Saman S — 11 Nov 2013
Hannibal is witty ,gripping ,intriguing and quite different from its predecessor the silence of the lambs in its script ,directing and the whole atmosphere ,just because our beloved dr lecter was no longer behind bars ,free from all those balls and chains and specially dr chilton .
It would be delicious watching dr lecter inflicting pain and torture on his helpless victims.Anthony Hopkins actually transcends the movie to another level ,by his unparalleled mesmerizing reprise of hannibal.
Julianne Moore could have been better .she is a treffic actor with an astonishing ranges of acting .One whose performance is underrated most of the time is Giancarlo Giannini .He did a fabulous job and demonestrates fear ,hesitation and the truth that even among police members there are phonies backstabbers and sycophants who stink of fear and .
Fraudulent .over all ,Anthony Hopkins was consummate irreplaceable and his performance has saved the movie in places.i watched it 3 times and enjoyed this spin chilling psychological thriller so much .
