Review of Hannibal (2001) by Noah F — 31 Jan 2015
Decent film, but such a steep decline from its predecessor. Julianne Moore's performance was very subpar, and the story left the sense of reality that Silence created. I just missed Foster so much. The character turned into this strong, independent figure, but seeing Moore trying to pull it off was so annoying. The whole shindig felt a little too much like a commercial Hannibal film to make profit off.
The popularity of Hopkins' Lecter.
