Review of Hannah and Her Sisters (1986) by Matt V — 12 Oct 2008
Rather plodding in its narrative, but with great performances from the entire cast. Loved seeing grungy 1980s Soho, too. And though Woody Allen's scenes were were truly ancillary and a diversion from the main plot, they were still amusing vehicles for his own bits.
For me, this is one of those 'the parts are better than the whole' films.
