Review of Hannah and Her Sisters (1986) by Jonathan M — 28 Oct 2008
Interesting story with some good characters with very complex relationships. This is not one of Woody Allens funniest films, but it is one of his more interesting ones. The acting was good, but I do not think it deserved the Oscars it received for Michael Cain and Dianne Wiest.
The ending might have been a little too sugary, but that is a nice change from most Woody Allen films. I would suggest watching this film if you are in more of a thinking mood rather than watching it when you want a good comedy.
