Review of Hannah and Her Sisters (1986) by Joshua T — 24 Apr 2009
Life in a godless universe, infidelity among sisters, a brain tumor... what a mix.
This was my first time watching Hannah and Her Sister. The characters felt like instruments in a band, echoing, harmonizing and casting discord with the others. All the time, Woody Allen's neurotic persona sets an ironically light mood in his quest for a reason to live.
