Review of Hannah and Her Sisters (1986) by Jon A — 16 Aug 2010
Woody Allen at his best. Funny and romantic/heart warming, great dialog. The Woody Allen stuff is a little self indulgent (although very funny and even profound at times) and the whole situation is just very strange and almost certainly wouldn't end as well as it did in the movie. Michael Caine is awesome as per usual and there is one scene between Allen and his parents that is funny enough to bring the house down.
Too bad I can't stand his newer movies.
