Review of Hannah and Her Sisters (1986) by Michal P — 08 Feb 2011
I have re-watched this movie yesterday (thank you Respekt) and it felt just as amazing as the first time.
When people talk about Shakespeare or Greek classics, they often repeat this cliche about how people remain the same throughout the centuries (and I always say something like: "Of course that in essence they are the same, it's the same species, but tons of stuff did change...").
To me it is much more fascinating that I feel this close to characters in Hannah and Her Sisters - mid 80s New Yorkers from artistic circles, people who are older than me and dress somewhat funny (I mean... 80s).
