Review of Hannah and Her Sisters (1986) by Tammy L — 07 Sep 2008
Another fantastic comedic effort from Woody Allen's best-of New York series. The story revolves around a group of sisters and the different relationships and people they encounter. It is all about the assumptions that they make and the things that they do not say, along with their own understanding of others and themselves.
Wonderful performances from around the entire cast and good surprising supporters too like Julia-Louis Dreyfus, Tony Roberts, John Turturo and Daniel Stern. Nice 1980s touch. Great witty script once again with real characters! Michael Caine is superb too!
