Review of Hanna (2011) by Deb A — 13 Apr 2012
What an intriguing and entertaining action film. Interesting premise for the whole CIA cover-up of bad deeds done in the past except the Bourne role is played by teen girl. Saoirse Ronan is fantastic in the 'lead role and certainly gives Cate Blanchett a run for.
Her money.
The action scenes and music are great and add to the atmosphere. The only real let downs are Cate Blanchett's accent (why?) and her bizarre choice of hit men to hunt down Hanna.
Still worth a watch though.
(I know it's the point of the whole film but did anyone else wonder why Hanna didn't just go out into the world without pressing the button?).
