Review of Hanna (2011) by Dave M — 11 Feb 2013
Worth seeing if only for the cinematography. Joe Wright is a strong director who loves his long takes and incredible set pieces. It's a great looking film with nasty villains and a great soundtrack from the Chemical Brothers.
However, after all that, the story is completely forgettable. I forgot it the second it was over. There's also a subplot with a family that's a complete waste of time. Its got heart and action but zero depth.
I expected more out of an arthouse action film.
