Review of Hangman's Knot (1952) by Paul D — 16 May 2009
There's a good mix of fast paced action and tense stand-offs in this steady western. Scott's acting doesn't differ but in the beginning his character isn't the clear cut hero he is known for playing for, although it is the underused Lee Marvin who excels as the dirty maverick among them.
