Review of Hanging Up (2000) by Casey R — 23 Jun 2007
I love the dynamic between the sisters, especially in the face of the character of the father. It isn't necessarily a happy movie, but it captures a sisterly bond in a way that is not too obvious but calls to "woman"(in a white upper middle class sense) as an experience split into three different characters without essentializing womanhood.
