Hang em High is a very good generic western. It is just flat out a western the plot is very familiar, a vigilante out for revenge, The whole thing is familiar. The score is also incredibly annoying with the exception of the main theme, it is completely misused.
Clint Eastwood is flat out a badass there really isn't too much to say but that, he's a good actor but hes really just a badass, in this movie the name Jed Cooper that just does not sound like an Eastwood character.
Hang Em High is okay but its really mediocre.
