Review of Handsome: A Netflix Mystery Movie (2017) by Christian G — 04 May 2017

A surprisingly effective detective genre piece starring Garlin (who also co-wrote and directed) as the eponymous LAPD Homicide dick. Some great character sketches throughout, including Garlin's likeable performance as the only partway competent investigator in his unit.

Occasionally threatens to spill over into Angie Tribeca levels of lunacy, but remains grounded in a credible prodecural premise that will presumably stay fresh in future installments.
