Review of Hancock (2008) by Jarrett M — 24 Dec 2012
Hancock comes across a lot funnier that I expected it to be, especially through the first half of the film. Will Smith does a good job of creating a character that is, at the same time, likeable and detestable.
It was also nice to see real world consequences brought into a 'superhero movie'. While the film does take a different direction than was to be expected, I think it worked for the movie. A little crude and rough around the edges for some people, Hancock is highly entertaining and well worth your time.
