Review of Hamlet 2 (2008) by Steve C — 23 Jun 2011
This is just a truly pleasurable comedy. It's a laugh out loud picture that you hope to have an empty theatre for so you can react in every way necessary. Coogan is a brilliant performer who knows how to both use the subtleties of his face and the full extent of his body.
And amidst all of it we have a drama that is effective and carries the weight of the story. Only a few points fall short, but they are easily forgivable.
