Review of Hamlet (1996) by Janet F — 25 Jun 2010
I saw Kenneth Branagh's interpretation of Hamlet in the theaters, when it first came out, and just watched it again for the first time on DVD. It's just as spellbinding, beautiful, well-acted and engaging now as it was in 1996.
Kenneth Branagh's Hamlet is a timeless classic. The cinematography is gorgeous. Cameos with famous, international movie stars are enjoyable, and Kenneth Branagh is brilliant.
