Review of Hamlet (1990) by Cory T — 07 Jul 2007

Of the screen versions of this, my favorite play of Shakespeare's, Mel Gibson's is my favorite to watch. Not necessarily for him, his acting is not just great, but the way in which it is a modern interpretation but a strict adaptation with exact script-transfer and set designs that seem impecably original.

Glenn Close and Mel Gibson's scene in her bedroom, where Polonius is killed, is simply amazing acting. I loved it!
