What could I possibly say about a movie based on a play by Shakespeare? Filmmaking wise the movie serves its purpose, and Mel Gibson gives an outstanding performance, but it didn't seem like anything too special.
Playwise, it's Shakespeare, of course it's brilliantly written, with deep thoughts on the purpose of life.
