Review of Hamlet (1990) by Carlie G — 08 Feb 2011
Hamlet is a pathetic portrayal of Shakespeare's most popular work. Gibson is almost comical in his attempt to show the emotions of a brooding Prince. For those of you who claim this is the 'best version of Hamlet', I strongly advise you to reconsider.
The Kenneth Branagh interpretation of Hamlet is infinitely better and much more deserving of hype.
