Review of Hamburger Hill (1987) by Niloc — 06 Sep 2008
Buried in the late-1980s run of Vietnam War movies, this is actually really good even if it runs through the usual cliches: 60s pop tunes, shocking violence, soldiers partying with whores, etc. Without any huge stars and a Phillip Glass theme, this is very engaging and worth watching.
