Underrated and realistic film about one of the bloodiest and most gruesome battles to take place during the Vietnam. Save for appearances by Dylan McDermott and Don Cheadle (before they were stars), the cast is virtually unknown, and that's a big plus.
Another highlight is the music- both the standard rock songs of the sixties and the haunting score by Philip Glass. Check this one out, you won't be disappointed, especially if you're looking for a realistic war film that isn't a big budget Hollywood affair.
