Review of Hamburger Hill (1987) by Marvellous Z — 27 Jun 2009
A great '80s Vietnam War epic that's up there with PLATOON. Does well to focus on a single battle and has some stunning, horrifying battle sequences, especially at the gruelling climax. An ensemble cast, many of whom went on to find careers in Hollywood, are very good indeed and the direction is top notch.
