Review of Halloween: The Curse of Michael Myers (1995) by Kevin B — 26 Feb 2012

Well, its not the worst film in the series. That's worth something isn't it? I mean yeah, this movie is a train wreck, but it's a grand, glorious train wreck. And it only crashes so badly because it dared to good.

Where as other films in the series (I'm lookin' at you part 5) were happy just trying to be another installment, this one tried to sum everything up, take us back to where we'd been, show us something new, and maybe give the audience some closure.

Now yes, it does this in a completely moronic way, but still I admire its ambition.
