Review of Halloween: Resurrection (2002) by Brad G — 29 Oct 2009
â??Let the Dangertainment begin up in thisâ?¦â?? Woah boy. Yeash. And Yeck. The final Halloween film before the reboot saw the producers milking the Blair Witch Project and Reality TV in general and the result is one of the lamest flicks in the franchise.
Jaime Lee Curtis returns for a brief fifteen minutes after her mighty/sucky return in H20 and itâ??s really embarrassing. The cast is a joke. Busta Rhymes had me laughing a little bit with his goofy one-liners and phony karate.
Starbuck from Battlestar Galactica is decent. That kid from American Pie doesnâ??t die soon enough. And Sean Patrick Thomas saves the last dance with Michael Myers as this pathetic knife wielding wannabe chef.
Yeah, the franchise definitely needed a reboot after this dreck. VF.
