Before any of you people go any further, let's get something straight, since it is a matter of more importance than what you perceive.

Halloween III is a rare oddity: agreed. People are usually inclined to hate it because it is not a Michael Myers movie; that's a wrong reason to hate the movie: agreed. The 80s horror, even campy fun, was made in a way that, nowadays, directors can't duplicate: agreed. Conclusion: People should see it as a stand-alone film, pretend that its title has not the word "Halloween", thus removing it from its mind, and appreciate it as a creepy delivery: not agreed.

People hating this for the wrong reason mentioned above has, ironically, given Halloween III the reputation it deserved in the first place. Is this your guilty pleasure? That's the only scenario in which I can forgive you, but seeing this as a separate celluloid entity (yeah, I had to watch it twice to try it) made the film just worse. Nobody with a functioning brain can consider this as a good film. NOBODY. Not even those avid followers of underground and cult cinema.

But let's give credit to what deserves credit. This deserves at least an extra half star (like I did) because of its ending, and what happened to the chick. It turned out she was a .... Yeah! "Cronenberg!", came to my mind and don't ask me why. And that laser thing: BOOM! LOL.

26/100.
