Review of Halloween III: Season of the Witch (1982) by Mallory A — 24 Oct 2013
Basically a small time company has everyone buy their halloween masks which have special chips inside them. So when they play their commercial, they can kill everyone. The company employs robots to do their bidding if anyone finds out the truth or opposes them.
Sounds promising, it just is never that scary and feels more like something from an episode of the X-files or Fringe than a Halloween movie. Really, the only connection to halloween season are the masks, even though the company is called Silver Shamrock, it doesn't feel like halloween in the film at all.
Feels like a different movie got poorly shoehorned into the Halloween series.
