Review of Halloween III: Season of the Witch (1982) by Dennis R — 30 Sep 2008
It really is that bad. The only way that it wouldn't suck is if it wouldn't have been called Halloween and only then it would have been cheesy and lame any way that you cut it. There are decent elements here but its the old What Happened? Originally Halloween was going to have an entry every year and that would have been to have Michael Myers in each one.
Halloween 3 tries that experiment and the lack of Myers is not made up by an old man who plots to kill people on Halloween with masks with an annoying, yet catchingly creepy jingle. Tom Atkins tries to hold it together and you almost have to appreciate a movie with Tom Atkins running around and fighting androids doing a toymakers bidding but therereally is nothing here aside from ONE decent scene involving a demonstration of the mask killing a kid and even that is whacked.
