Review of Halloween III: Season of the Witch (1982) by Jeremy K — 30 Oct 2009
I've tried to keep an open mind with this film and not be immediately biased towards it just because there's no Michael Myers. But the fact is, there's just nothing real special about it. The concept isn't too bad, but the execution just leaves you scratching your head.
The plot is one that demands explanation, but doesn't deliver. Tom Atkins at least gives an effort in the lead role, but he's just not too appealing to watch. The only real charming character we get is Stacey Nelkin, and she's basically thrown aside most of the time.
This movie isn't really terrible, but it's just not enjoyable at all. By the time it ends (which it really doesn't; it just sorta stops), you're just tired of it. Oh, and I also want to mention the most ANNOYING SONG OF ALL TIME! YOU WON'T GET IT OUT OF YOUR HEAD!
