It's not near as bad as people would have you think. It's actually a really good movie and I liked it ALOT. A very dark and intriguing plot, pretty good characters and an original story. It has an awesome tone to it but I thought it got a little to dark when they killed the kid.
Other than that it was a great movie. Oh and just like the original Halloween, it's got a twist ending you won't see coming. You won't get bored and your attention won't get drawn away either.
You really should see this one.
