Review of Halloween III: Season of the Witch (1982) by Mark N — 28 Apr 2012
A brave attempt to do what the Carpenters always intended by making each movie Halloween themed instead of a serial-killer mythology. It fails mainly due to expectations of the name meaning more of the same: the same characters and situations that we love in other series.
If there had been more focus on action, kills or tension it might have worked but with precious little of those it's an unremarkable movie with a highly remarkable name.
